At the Tri-City Dust Devils, every position plays a vital role in creating a safe and enjoyable environment for our fans. While each role comes with its own set of responsibilities, here is what we expect from every member of our staff:

The minimum age to work with the Dust Devils is 16 years old. You can still apply if you turn 16 by April 3rd.

Game Day Positions

Section Leader

Greet fans, provide directions, and answer questions about the venue, seating, and game details.
Proactively escort fans to their seats
Engage fans throughout the game with cheers, dances, and crowd involvement
Ensure safety protocols are followed and help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the stadium, including monitoring restrooms and concourses.

Cashier/Runner

Engage with fans while accurately processing food and beverage sales using point-of - sale (POS) system
Maintain concession stand cleanliness and organization throughout your shift
Ensure food safety, speed & quality standards are met
Adhere to all Benton – Franklin Health Dept. policies and guidelines to ensure a safe food establishment

Ticket Seller

Engage with fans while processing and selling single-game, group, and event tickets accurately and efficiently using ticketing software, ticket.com
Occasional morning shift (9am-12pm) in the Dust Devils front office
Maintain Box Office cleanliness
Provide assistance with any potential digital ticket issues

Team Store

Assist fans with merchandise transactions, providing a positive engaging shopping experience
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Dust Devils Team Store
Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently, handling credit, and gift card transactions.
Continuously stock, organize, and replenish merchandise on the sales floor and in the stockroom, ensuring displays are visually appealing and tidy.
Monitor monthly inventory

Grounds Crew

Prepare the field at Gesa Stadium, maintain the playing field and surrounding stadium grounds to ensure safety and a pristine appearance.
Mow the grass, edge the infield, groom the bullpens, etc.
Drag the infield, tamping, chalk lines, and set up for pre-game activities.
Post game field maintenance

Parking

Greet fans and collect payment as they enter the Gesa Stadium parking lot
Pass out parking passes
Maintain safe traffic flow in and out of the parking lot

Dusty's Grill & Fry Shack

Engage with fans while accurately processing food and beverage sales using point-of - sale (POS) system
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards, ensuring proper temperature and portion control. in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Assist with nightly closedown dishes, and daily inventory, and rotate stock
Maintain concession stand cleanliness and organization throughout your shift
Ensure food safety, speed & quality standards are met
Adhere to all Benton – Franklin Health Dept. policies and guidelines to ensure a safe food establishment

Beer Pourer 21+

Engage with fans while accurately processing food and beverage sales using point-of - sale (POS) system
Take beverage orders, pour beer accurately, and serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner
Verify customer age to comply with legal requirements for serving alcohol
Follow all company and legal regulations for serving alcohol, including responsible service practices.
Maintain concession stand cleanliness and daily inventory, and rotate stock

Dippin' Dots & Sno Cone

Engage with fans while accurately processing food and beverage sales using point-of - sale (POS) system
Assist with nightly closedown dishes, and daily inventory, and rotate stock
Maintain concession stand cleanliness and organization throughout your shift
Ensure food safety, speed & quality standards are met
Adhere to all Benton – Franklin Health Dept. policies and guidelines to ensure a safe food establishment

Bat Person

Help with gameday preparation and equipment inventory
Retrieve bats, balls, and other equipment during games and practices
Assist the clubhouse manager with any needs before and after the game
Maintain clubhouse and dugout cleanliness

Ticket Scanner

Greet guests, scan tickets, and ensure they are authentic and valid for entry
Help manage guest flow at entrances to prevent bottlenecks and ensure a smooth entry process
Answer questions about seating, restrooms, and concessions, and direct guests to their correct locations
Provide guidance to the fans on where their seats or hospitality areas are

Clean Up Crew

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of Gesa stadium before, during, and after all events
Waste removal : Empty trash, replace liners, and dispose of waste properly
General cleaning: Sweep, & mop, in all areas, including seating areas, concourses, and restrooms
Morning shift (9:00AM – 12:00PM) & game shift available

Food Prep

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards, ensuring proper temperature and portion control, in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Assist with nightly closedown dishes, and daily inventory, and rotate stock
Maintain concession stand cleanliness and organization throughout your shift
Ensure food safety, speed & quality standards are met
Adhere to all Benton – Franklin Health Dept. policies and guidelines to ensure a safe food establishment

Games

Monitor children's activities to ensure a safe and fun environment
Ensure all policies and safety protocols are followed by children and parents
Keep the area clean and orderly, and help with the setup and breakdown of the zone.

Hospitality BBQ Team Member

Assist with nightly closedown dishes, and daily inventory, and rotate stock
Maintain concession stand cleanliness and organization throughout your shift
Responsible for the set up and tear down of all hospitality buffet areas

Promo Team Member

Assist in the execution of the Dust Devils show - Game Day Setup/Teardown: Participate in the setup and breakdown of promotional equipment, props, and theme night decorations.
Execute In-Game Promotions: Lead on-field games, contests, and activities throughout the game
Sign up fans for on field & in-game promotions
Giveaway Distribution: Assist with the organization and distribution of promotional & giveaway items to fans as they enter the stadium or during the game

Info Station Attendant

Assist fans with customer service questions and concerns
Greet fans, provide directions, and answer questions about the venue, seating, and event details
Keep the information station clean, organized, and presentable throughout the event

Concession Stand Manager

Keep track of gameday inventory monitor inventory levels, conduct regular counts,
Maintain concession stand cleanliness
Manage day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures
Maintain high standards for guest satisfaction and product quality. Be an example to staff on proper customer service techniques
Ensure food safety, speed & quality standards are met
