Steve Cohen I Vice President

Steve has been a member of the Cyclones front office staff since the team's inception in 2001, serving as the General Manager from 2001-2013 before being named Vice President of the club in January, 2014. He also served as the General Manager during the franchise's temporary stop in Queens (as the Queens Kings) in 2000, and played an integral part in the transition to Brooklyn.

Under Steve's leadership, the Cyclones have led all short-season clubs in attendance since 2001, and have ranked in the top 25 nationally in average attendance every season. The organization has always received numerous accolades away from the baseball diamond, including their recognition as the NYPL's nominee for the John Henry Moss Award for Community Service following the 2013 and 2014 seasons. The Cyclones have also been twice nominated for the John H. Johnson's President's Trophy, Minor League Baseball's most prestigious award, in recognition of the MiLB's most complete franchise.

In 2008 & 2013, Steve was honored as the winner of the Robert Julian Community & Baseball Service Award. Under Steve's direction, the Cyclones have donated over several million dollars of cash, tickets, goods, and services to various causes and organizations throughout the New York Metropolitan area.

In 2007, Steve was honored as the New York-Penn League Executive of the Year, on the heels of one of the club's most successful seasons. The Cyclones led the league in attendance for the seventh straight year, drew its two millionth fan faster than any club in the classification's history, and broke its own single-game attendance record three times (10,073). The Cyclones drew 294,972 fans in 36 openings for an average of 8,194 per game (up from 7,820 in 2006), and filled the ballpark to over 100% capacity for the seventh straight year. Brooklyn ranked 16th in all of minor league baseball in average attendance -- the only Short-Season team to place in the top 25. He also received the award in 2013 after helping to guide the franchise through a massive recovery effort, and multi-million dollar rebuilding of MCU Park, following Superstorm Sandy's devastation.

Steve has spent over 25 seasons working in professional baseball. Prior to joining the Queens Kings in 2000, Steve worked in St. Petersburg, Florida as the Assistant General Manager of the St. Petersburg Devil Rays of the Florida State League and General Manager of the St. Petersburg Cardinals in 1996.

His first professional baseball experience came in 1990 after graduating with a Sports Management degree from the University of Massachusetts. He started as an intern and eventually assumed the role of Director of Operations for Al Lang Stadium.

In 2001, Steve received the J. Frank Cashen Award, presented to a member of the organization who best exemplifies total commitment in establishing a superior environment in which to develop players for the New York Mets. In 2009, he received the Mets' Sterling Minor League Executive of the Year award.

Born in Brooklyn, Steve currently lives on Long Island and is the proud father of Evan and Emma.

Billy Harner I Assistant General Manager

Billy worked as an intern with the Brooklyn Cyclones from 2001-2005 before taking the position of Media Relations Manager with the State College Spikes in University Park, PA for their inaugural season in 2006. Following the 2007 season, the Bay Ridge native returned to his Big Apple roots by joining the New York Mets as a Media Relations Coordinator. After three seasons in Flushing, the 41-year-old returned to the County of Kings as the Director of Communications in January 2011. He was named Assistant General Manager prior to the 2022 season.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Billy graduated from Xavier High School in Manhattan where he played basketball and baseball before taking his talents to Philadelphia and St. Joseph’s University. While at the REAL SJU, the Hawks were ranked # 1 in the nation before losing in the Elite Eight to Oklahoma State University thanks to a buzzer-beater from John Lucas, III. That one play has caused Billy to develop an unnatural hatred for the state of Oklahoma, Cowboys and the number three.

Billy currently lives in Wantagh, Long Island with his wife Kathryn and their three sons: Billy, Johnny and Ryan. He spends his free time sitting in traffic on the Belt Parkway and Southern State Parkway, coaching his sons in youth sports and has been called Billy Flay on more than one occasion because of his prowess in the kitchen.

Lily Clark I Social Media & Creative Services Manager

Lily joins the Cyclones after recently attaining her degree in Communication and Graphic Design. Prior to graduating, Lilywas the Director of Public Relations for WNYO 88.9 FM, her university radio station, where she designed graphics and social media coverage for DIII hockey. She has an extensive background in communications, fulfilling past leadership roles in broadcasting, event planning, and graphic design.

In her free time, Lily loves hiking, reading, and painting. She has spent three summers doing event planning in the scenic Adirondack Mountains- a vastly different environment from the busy city, but the same grind. She is a successful freelance artist, producing work from fashion illustration to logo design.

Lily loves all NY teams, rallying behind the Bills, Mets, and Rangers. Storytelling is her favorite part of sports, and she can't wait to help shape the story of the Cyclones.

Jenny Kimbro I Associate, Graphic Design & Creative Services

Jenny joined the Cyclones in 2022 as a Graphic Design Associate. Born and raised in Illinois, she attended the University of Iowa where she studied Graphic Design, Communications, and Theater. While at Iowa, she was a five-year member of the track and field team, where she competed as a heptathlete.

Abbie Molhoek I Marketing & Promotions Associate

Abbie joined the Cyclones staff prior to the 2024 season. Abbie is joining the team as the Marketing and Promotions Associate.

Born and raised in Texas, she interned with the Texas Rangers during their World Champions season in their events marketing department before moving to New York. A lifelong baseball fan Abbie is excited for her first season with the Cyclones.

Vladimir Lipsman I Director, Ballpark Operations

Vladimir joined the Cyclones in the winter of 2003. He was born in Russia, and came to America in 1994. He received a BS in HVAC from Moscow Civil Engineering College, and then received an AS in Building Maintenance from TCI College of Technology in New York.

Before joining the Cyclones, Vladimir worked for Bally Total Fitness in the Engineering Department. He currently lives in Bergen Beach, with his wife Galina, and son Sergey.

Sharon Lundy I Administrative Assistant & Community Relations

Sharon is a long-time resident of Coney Island. She graduated from Lincoln High School and Kingsborough Community College, and is now raising her three children here. She enjoys living and working in Coney Island, where she has been employed by the Cyclones since November 2000.

Tatiana Isdith I Senior Accountant

Tatiana joined the Cyclones prior to the 2003 season. She handles the team's financial transactions, and works with all accounts.

Tatiana was born and raised in the Ukraine, and moved to the United States 16 years ago. She graduated with a BS in Accounting and Economics from Odessa's Polytechnic University, and later received an AOS Degree in Accounting/Business Administration from ASA Institute - College of Advanced Technology, in Brooklyn.

She currently lives in Brooklyn, with her husband Carlos Isdith

Max Colten I Clubhouse Manager

Max first joined the Brooklyn Cyclones straight out of high school in 2009 working on the grounds crew and for the operations department. He became the Clubhouse Manager in 2013, being named Mets Clubhouse Manager of the Year, and went on to Mets affiliates in Savannah and Binghamton in 2014 and 2015 respectively.

He returned to the Cyclones full time in 2016 in his current role as the Head Groundskeeper and Clubhouse Manager.

Born in Queens and raised in Long Island, Max graduated from Oceanside High School before attending St. John’s University where he worked as a Student Manager for the baseball team under Ed Blankmeyer.

More affectionately known as Little Ben Franklin, Max spends his free time reading, traveling to various periods in his time machine, and mastering the violin.

Mitch Hillert I Head Groundskeeper

Mitchell Hillert joins the Brooklyn Cyclones for the 2024 season as the Head Groundskeeper and Facility Manager. Mitchell previously worked at the Cyclones under Max Colton when the stadium hosted WBC qualifier, as his Assistant Groundskeeper in 2016. During the year 2023, Mitchell worked for the Jersey Shore BlueClaws, as the Head Groundskeeper. From the 2021 to 2022 season, Mitchell pitched for and worked as the Head Groundskeeper for Regensburg Legionnaire, in the Bundesliga. During his time there Regensburg hosted the 2022 World Baseball Classic Qualifier. From 2019 to 2020 he played for the Mannheim Tornados in the Bundesliga. During the 2017 to 2018 season Mitchell pitched for the Empire Independent League, played for the Puerto Rico Islanders, and New Hampshire Wild. Mitchell has also been a part of the Ireland National baseball team since 2018 and won the first Gold for the National team in the 2018 European qualifier.

During the off-season of 2017, Mitchell worked for the New York Red Bulls as a part-time grounds crew member.

Mitchell attended Concordia College New York and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration. Additionally, Mitchell was a four year starter for Concordia’s baseball team and won rookie of the year for the school. Mitchell returned to school in 2021 at Rutgers University, attending online classes while living in Germany to learn about Professional Turf Golf Management. Mitchell graduated from Rutgers University in the year of 2022.

Born and raised in Brooklynite with current residency in the Bay Ridge area of Brooklyn, New York, Mitchell enjoys playing all kinds of sports. During his free time, he actively plays in the Zorrilla Baseball League and for the Irish Wolfhounds, the first Irish American baseball team.

Ricky Viola I Account Executive

Ricky joined the Cyclones on a full-time basis as an Account Executive in 2005, after spending parts of the first four seasons as part of the Video Crew. Ricky is a lifelong Brooklynite and has attended Kingsborough Community College.

Justin Zweifler I Ticket Office Associate

Justin joined the Cyclones staff prior to the 2024 season.

Justin graduated from SUNY Cortland with a degree in Sports Management in 2024. He was born and raised in Rockaway, NY.

Jackson Seymour I Ticket Office Associate

Jackson always knew he wanted to work in sports and decided to attend school to pursue a career in the industry. In college, he started his career working as an intern for Chatham Anglers of the Cape Cod Baseball League. While in school he worked at the Radio Station and also in the equipment operations department.

In 2020 he graduated from St. John’s University with a degree in Sport Management.

After his time at St. John’s he began his career in Alabama as a Ticket Sales Agent with the Rocket City Trash Pandas of Major League Baseball’s Double A South Division in 2022.

Following his time in the Rocket City Jackson went further south going to Miami and working for the Miami Marlins as an Inside Sales Representative for the 2023 season.

Raised in White Plains and always loving New York City, being a lifelong New York Sports fan Jackson came back in order to fulfill a dream working for a New York based team.

He joined the Cyclones in 2024 and is excited once again work in minor league baseball.
