Job Synopsis: this is a paid seasonal position providing hands-on experience in professional MiLB Ticket Sales & Operations. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, coachable, and willing to take on any task as assigned. For anyone looking to break into the sports industry specifically for ticketing, you will gain the fundamentals to start your career.
The position is for current or recently graduated students. It requires the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Comfortable interacting with all levels within the organization as well as outside contacts.
Reports to: Director of Ticket Sales & Operations
- Generate sales through prospecting via phone, email, & networking.
- Handle incoming calls, provide customer service to current and potential buyers.
- Brainstorm & Implement theme night ideas to increase sales of promotional nights.
- Help manage ticket information in the ticketing system, assist with data entry, and keep records current and accurate using both ProVenue & Score CRM.
- Attend grassroots/community events to promote team sales & services.
- Help with reporting of ticket sales numbers & trends.
- Run box office window for all stadium events.
- Assist the ticketing office and other departments with day-to-day functions as needed.
This is a seasonal, paid position.
Hours are flexible. November to January / February (20-25 hours per week)
January / February to May or September (25-35 hours per week).
Per the NYC pay transparency law, the hiring range for this position is ($16 per hour).
