Frisco RoughRiders Fan Behavior Policy
The Frisco RoughRiders are committed to creating a family-friendly and welcoming environment at the ballpark for all guests. As part of that commitment, we have adopted this written policy addressing fan behavior. The policy includes a Fan Code of Conduct, which is fan-facing and describes how fans are expected to behave.
All Frisco RoughRiders staff, including game-day staff, must receive a copy of this policy before working any games. In addition, all staff must receive annual training on this policy, the substance of the Fan Code of Conduct, and how to respond to prohibited fan behavior. All training will be documented.
A copy of the Fan Code of Conduct can be found at any entrance gate to the ballpark, at any guest services booth, on ridersbaseball.com, and in the official game program.
Fans will be notified before and during the game through public service announcements (“PSAs”) on the main video board that summarizes the Fan Code of Conduct, the penalties for violation, and how to report prohibited behavior.
Reporting An Incident
Any game-day staff member who witnesses or receives a report of prohibited fan behavior by a fan must report the incident to a Club security supervisor. This can be done by contacting your immediate supervisor, notifying a nearby security staff member, or by contacting Scott Burchett, at [email protected].
Use of derogatory language by a fan toward a player, umpire, Club staff, or their family members must be documented by the Club and reported to the Club’s General Manager and to the Commissioner’s Office via email to [email protected]. Clubs must seek to collect the name and identifying information of the fan and must include in their report a description of how the Club addressed the incident and any planned discipline.
Fan Code of Conduct
In order to provide a welcoming experience for all, the Frisco RoughRiders have implemented a Fan Code of Conduct. Out of respect for fellow guests, players, coaches, and ballpark staff, all guests are prohibited from:
· Trespassing on the playing field at any time;
· Interfering with baseballs that are in play;
· Throwing or tossing objects;
· Using foul, obscene or derogatory language (see below) or gestures;
· Misusing or over consuming alcohol, including, underage consumption;
· Behaving in a manner that is disruptive, unruly, or abusive;
· Accessing areas of the ballpark without a proper ticket, pass, or credential;
· Misusing tickets, passes, or credentials in any way; or
· Bringing prohibited items into the ballpark.
Derogatory language is defined as offensive language concerning a person’s race, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation, or national origin, and anyone using such language is subject to automatic ejection from the ballpark.
Violations of the Fan Code of Conduct will not be tolerated and may lead to ejection from the ballpark, a ban on attending future games, or other consequences. Guests who are found to have used derogatory language will be ejected from the ballpark.
Guests are encouraged to report violations of the Fan Code of Conduct to the nearest ballpark staff member. This can be done in person, at the nearest Guest Services location, directly with Ballpark Security or emailing [email protected].
Please keep at least 6 feet of distance from other guests at all times. This includes entry and exit as well as when moving around Riders Field and standing in lines.
The majority of the seating bowl will be available for purchase without restrictions. For guests who would prefer to purchase seats in the seating bowl that are socially-spaced, the RoughRiders have designated Sections 104 & 105 for such instances. All hospitality/suites/group spaces, along with the Lazy River, are open at 100% capacity.
The Ballpark will work toward limiting cash transactions, including in the areas of parking, food/beverage, and merchandise. This will assist in limiting direct contact between employees and guests.

We have increased regularity and scope of ballpark wash-downs and cleanings. We have also added sanitizing stations for public and employee use which will be available throughout The Ballpark.
We will conduct temperature checks for all full-time, part-time, and third party staff members prior to entering the ballpark. Staff members showing any signs of illness will be sent home immediately. All fan-facing staff members shall be required to wear protective face coverings, as necessitated by current guidelines and best practices policies. In addition, our staff will be instructed to make the following changes to fan-facing interactions, without limitations: 1) Prohibit handshaking and physical contact with guest and other employees; 2) Employees will be required to wear masks; 3) Employees handling food will be required to wear protective gloves and masks; 4) Prior to the start of each shift, and continuing when appropriate, employees will be required to wash their hands and put on a new pair of gloves; and 5) Ongoing training to educate staff on new, updated guidelines and procedures.

Entry gate lines will be widened to create more distance between guests. The Ballpark will have designated entrance and exit gates, with seating location determining which gates guests are encouraged to enter. Gates will open one hour prior to game time.
Select ballpark ticket windows will be closed to ensure proper distancing between guests. As a general practice, the RoughRiders will encourage the use of mobile/digital ticketing to reduce the use of in-hand tickets. RoughRiders season seat members and group customers will have the option of contactless ticket distribution; all subsequent exchanges or additional ticket requests will be encouraged to remain contactless. For your safety, all ticket windows and counters are to be wiped down every hour during an event and will be sprayed before and after each event. We will also provide stanchions and/or spacing markers to promote proper distancing between customers waiting in line at the box off windows.
The RoughRiders will put forth the following food and beverage protocols in place: 1) Staff members will adhere to the most recent guidelines in regard to the use of face coverings and gloves for the safety of our staff and guests; 2) Additional staff positions will be assigned specifically to disinfect surfaces before, during, and after events; 3) All employees will be required to wear protective masks and gloves; 4) Stanchions spaced in concession lines to promote distancing between guests waiting in line; 5) No dining or picnic table will be allowed to have more than six (6) patrons throughout all areas of facility; 7) Tables in all hospitality areas will be set at least 6’ apart from each other; 8) All condiments will be provided by request only and in pre-packaged packets; 9) There will be the use of pre-wrapped cutlery, food served by staff members wearing protective mask and gloves and areas will be wiped down with disinfectant before and upon the completion of serving in the Group Areas; 10) The RoughRiders will encourage the use cashless payments throughout The Ballpark, this includes food/beverage, ticketing, and merchandise.
