MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Redbirds continued a six-game homestand with a 4-3 walk-off win over the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (Triple-A, Miami Marlins) on Friday afternoon at AutoZone Park.

Memphis second baseman Nick Dunn crushed his third home run of the year, a walk-off blast in the bottom of the ninth inning. The home run marked the first Redbirds walk-off win of the 2024 season. Dunn finished the day 2-for-4 with the home run.

Other key contributors at the plate included designated hitter Alfonso Rivas, third baseman Cesar Prieto and left fielder Jared Young. Each had multi-hit efforts. Young led the way with three hits, his first multi-hit game of April.

Right-handed pitcher Sem Robberse continued his dominant 2024 campaign. The starter tossed 7.0 innings, allowed two runs on six hits and struck out six batters. Robberse has not allowed more than two runs in any of his five starts this season.

The Memphis Redbirds return to AutoZone Park to continue a six-game series against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp on Saturday, April 27 with first pitch for 3:05 p.m. CDT.
