M-Braves Media Center

Per Major League Baseball, ALL media members entering Trustmark Park MUST sign the Media Credential Release of Liability Waiver form (front and back). The form can be returned to me via email ([email protected]), fax (601-936-3567), or dropped off at the box office or front offices.

SEASON CREDENTIALS
Mississippi Braves season credentials are issued to legitimate news-gathering outlets that will cover the team regularly.

SINGLE-GAME CREDENTIALS
Mississippi Braves single-game credentials will be issued to legitimate news-gathering outlets that plan to cover the team on a limited basis, as well as area outlets making last-minute changes in coverage.

PARKING
Limited parking for the media is available in the Media/VIP Lot. If you do not have a single or season credential, contact Chris Harris at [email protected] to be added to the free parking list. The Media Lot entrance is opposite the main parking lot of 1 Braves Way and Bass Pro Drive. It is adjacent to the media and VIP entrance to Trustmark Park. The Media Lot is directly behind home plate, between Trustmark Park and Bass Pro Shop. You may access the media lot with your credentials or be added to the pass list.

MEDIA ENTRY
Enter through the Media/VIP Entrance directly behind the home plate and the press box at Trustmark Park. All gates at Trustmark Park open at 5:30 pm for Monday-Friday games, 5:00 pm for Saturday games, 1:00 pm for Sunday games that begin at 2:05 pm, and 5:00 pm for Sunday games that start at 6:05 pm. Times are subject to change. Early admittance to media members is accepted on a case-by-case basis. Media should enter Trustmark Park through the administrative offices and speak to the Media Relations Department in such occurrences.

CREDENTIALING
Credentials will be issued only to legitimate news-gathering agencies that have contacted the Media Relations Department at least 24 hours before the day of the game. In addition, please specify the name(s) and function of the individual(s) being sent to cover the game. Credentials may be picked up at Will Call, located at the main ticket window at Trustmark Park. The main ticket window at Trustmark Park opens at 10 am Monday-Friday. Credentials are not issued to anyone under 18 years of age. Any party abusing this policy will forfeit their credential and all privileges.

WORKSPACE
Trustmark Park's press box is on the suite level behind home plate. Stairs and an elevator to the press box are on the right after entering the stadium. Once on the suite level, walk to the left; the press box will be on your right. Limited seating is available in the press box, and working media take precedence in the press box as long as seats are available. The main area of the press box is for writing press, while the booths are for radio and TV media members. Your cooperation is requested to keep a working press box atmosphere. Both clubs' game notes and statistical Press Box: information, press releases, and roster sheets will be available daily.

REQUESTING INTERVIEWS
All interviews for Mississippi Braves players will be coordinated through the M-Braves Media Relations department. All opposing players will be coordinated through each team's media relations staff.

FIELD/DUGOUTS
Media members holding credentials that grant field access may be present in the foul territory/dugout areas up to one hour before the scheduled game. Currently, media members are allowed to cross the foul lines into the field of play. Foul territory and dugout areas must be clear of ALL media exactly one hour before the start of the game unless a special request has been made to the Mississippi Braves Media Relations staff or college media relations staff.

NO AUTOGRAPHS
Any member of the media requesting autographs while credentialed will have press access revoked.

GENERAL PRINCIPLES:

• Media credentials are not transferable.
• The Commissioner's Office reserves the right to revoke inappropriately issued credentials.
• Under no circumstances shall any club discriminate against an accredited media member based on race, creed, sex, or national origin.
• MLB's Code of Conduct must be posted prominently at each ballpark, including in clubhouses and media areas. Harassment, physical abuse, or threats directed to members of the media and official scorers) by baseball, personnel will not be tolerated. Disciplinary action, including fines and suspensions, will be considered in any cases that arise.
• Any club whose personnel violate these regulations will be disciplined. In addition, any member of the media who violates these regulations will lose their accreditation.

All pregame and postgame interviews must be approved by Mississippi Braves personnel.
