River Cats Set to Begin Eight-Game Homestand

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The first-place Sacramento River Cats will look to continue their four-game winning streak with an eight-game homestand against the Oklahoma City RedHawks-the Triple-A Affiliate of the Houston Astros-and the New Orleans Zephyrs-the Triple-A Affiliate of the Miami Marlins. The homestand features numerous promotions including a Barry Zito bobblehead giveaway presented by Sutter Health, two fireworks shows, Military Appreciation Night presented by U.S. Army, and Free Parking Wednesday presented by Jiffy Lube.

Thursday, May 16 vs. Oklahoma City RedHawks - 7:05 p.m.

  • Miller Lite Thirsty Thursday: Get $2 12-ounce Miller and Miller Lite beer.
  • Law Enforcement Night: Support local law enforcement as various law enforcement vehicles will be on display before the game.

Friday, May 17 vs. Oklahoma City RedHawks - 7:05 p.m.

  • Fireworks Friday: Enjoy a fireworks display after the game.

Saturday, May 18 vs. Oklahoma City RedHawks - 7:05 p.m.

  • Sutter Health Fireworks Saturday: Sutter Health is once again partnering with the River Cats to bring you fireworks across the Sacramento skyline after all 11 Saturday home games this season.
  • Lexus of Roseville Grand Slam Saturday Sweepstakes: Win a free two-year lease on a Lexus if the River Cats hit a grand slam in the eighth inning by signing up at Lexus of Roseville.

Sunday, May 19 vs. Oklahoma City RedHawks - 1:05 p.m.

  • Beauty in the Ballpark presented by Mary Kay: $5 of every ticket will help raise funds for cancer research and domestic violence prevention.
  • U.S. Bank Sunday Funday: Kids of all ages will enjoy pregame player autographs, face painters and balloon artists, and the opportunity to "Run the Bases" on the field after every Sunday home game.

Monday, May 20 vs. New Orleans Zephyrs - 7:05 p.m.

  • Throwback Monday presented by Cache Creek: The players will be wearing throwback Sacramento Solons jerseys and hats, popcorn and peanuts are just 50 cents each, and Gus the Organ Guy will entertain the crowd with vintage organ music.

Tuesday, May 21 vs. New Orleans Zephyrs - 7:05 p.m.

  • Tecate Tuesday: Tecate Tuesday returns to Raley Field, and will feature $3.50 Tecate beers.
  • Toyota Family Value Tuesdays: All fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and $1 desserts every Tuesday throughout the River Cats season.

Wednesday, May 22 vs. New Orleans Zephyrs - 12:05 p.m.

  • Free Parking Wednesdays presented by Jiffy Lube: Parking in lots controlled by Raley Field is 100% free.

Thursday, May 23 vs. New Orleans Zephyrs - 7:05 p.m.
