NATURALS FALL IN SERIES FINALE

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark.-- The Northwest Arkansas Naturals (52-81/27-35) dropped the final game from Dickey-Stephens Park on Monday night to the Arkansas Travelers (71-62/37-27) by a final score of 12-1.

The Naturals were held to three hits in the loss by Travelers starter LHP Michael Roth (11-7, 2.62) who went seven innings before giving way to two relievers. The Naturals received their hits from Lane Adams, Juan Graterol and Angel Franco. The lone RBI was collected by Hunter Dozier.

RHP Aroni Nina (0-1, 4.82) took the loss in his first start for the Naturals and first start since May 24, 2013 while relievers LHP Noel Arguelles and infielder turned RHP Mark Threlkeld tossed scoreless seventh and eighth innings respectively in the loss.

Northwest Arkansas will continue the week-long road trip with a four-game series in Tulsa, Okla. against the Tulsa Drillers beginning Tuesday night from ONEOK Field before returning to Arvest Ballpark for the final 3-game homestand of the year against these same Arkansas Travelers.

The Naturals will send RHP Matt Murray (1-5, 3.78) to the mound against RHP Richard Castillo (3-12. 5.28) in game one of the series on Tuesday, August 26 at 7:05p.m.
