10th Season Home White Jersey Auction during Friday's game

Springfield, MO - As the 2014 Regular Season Home Schedule wraps up this week, the Springfield Cardinals are holding the 2014 Home White Jersey Auction during the game against the Arkansas Travelers on Friday, August 29. First Pitch on Friday is set for 7:10pm, with gates opening at 6:10pm.

Don't miss your chance to bid on a piece of Springfield Cardinals history with the game-worn home jerseys from the 10th Season. In addition to the Springfield Birds on the Bat, the jerseys feature the Commemorative 10th Season Patch on the right sleeve, celebrating this milestone year at Hammons Field.

This year's Home White Jerseys were worn by exciting prospects like LHP Marco Gonzales, All-Star C Cody Stanley, SS Aledmys Diaz, RHP Zach Petrick, OF Charlie Tilson, 2B Jacob Wilson, 3B Patrick Wisdom, 2B Breyvic Valera and many more!

Proceeds from the Home White Jersey Auction will benefit the Cardinals Youth Initiative, presented by the Hamels Foundation. Friday's game also features Fan Appreciation Day Vouchers for a 2015 Game and AM Pyrotechnics Friday Night Fireworks with Top Hits of 2014 as the soundtrack.

Yadier Molina and Michael Wacha expected to work out at Hammons Field this week

The St. Louis Cardinals announced on Monday that Cardinals All-Star catcher Yadier Molina and pitcher Michael Wacha will report to the Springfield Cardinals this week with plans to continue their rehabilitation workouts.

Molina will report to Springfield today and is expected to go through a full workout. The Springfield Cardinals play the Arkansas Travelers at 7:10pm tonight, but gates will open at 4pm so fans can enjoy watching Molina in his expected workout before the game.

Wacha is scheduled to report and throw a "live" batting practice session to the Springfield team on Wednesday, August 27.

Any other potential modified opening times this week will be announced at a later date.

Yadier Molina Pregame Workout and Great Southern Bank $1 Dog Day today

The Cards continue the final homestand of the 2014 Regular Season with a Great Southern Bank $1 Dog Day on Tuesday, August 26. First Pitch is 7:10pm, gates open at 4pm for Yadier Molina's expected workout before the game.

-Budweiser Commemorative 10th Season Beer Stein Giveaway (2,500, ages 21+) and "Buck a Brat" Night with $1 bratwursts all game on Thursday, August 28. First Pitch is 7:10pm, gates open at 6:10pm.
