The Cardinals announced the return of the Cardinals Caravan, presented by Missouri Farm Bureau Insurance. The annual traveling roadshow will bring current players, Alumni, and broadcasters to 15 cities across six states throughout Cardinals Nation over a four-day period (January 16-19, 2026).

The Springfield Cardinals are thrilled to announce that the 11-time World Champion St. Louis Cardinals will play an Exhibition Game against their Double-A Affiliate at Hammons Field on Monday, March 23, 2026 at 6:05 PM.
Dubbed “Cards vs. Cards, presented by Mercy”, this game figures to feature 2025 Gold Glove winner Masyn Winn, National League All-Star Brendan Donovan and Gold Glove finalist Victor Scott II, all of whom made significant impacts during their time with the Springfield Cardinals.
This will be the fifth time in Springfield history that St. Louis visits Hammons Field (2005 – two games, 2008 – two games, 2012 and 2017), marking the end of the longest hiatus since the first time the two teams clashed.
Award-winning Hammons Field provides Southwest Missouri and the Ozarks with a memorable setting for professional & collegiate baseball and a variety of special events in the heart of downtown Springfield, playing host to the Springfield Cardinals (Double-A Minor League Baseball affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals) and the Missouri State Bears (NCAA Division 1) since 2005.

Opened in 2025, the Executive Level at Hammons Field is our most premium rental area. With four adjacent top-of-the-line suites which have the absolute best view of the field, the Executive Level can be scaled up or down for personal or professional get-togethers like company meetings, Christmas parties, birthday parties and more!

The Training Facility at Hammons Field is our largest indoor event space. Perfect for awards ceremonies, company retreats, memorabilia shows, luncheons and baseball/softball practices, the Training Facility offers a large and maluable temperature controlled space that can be adjusted to fit any event needs.

The Plaza at Hammons Field is an open air event space perfect for community gathering events like 5Ks/Fun Runs/Walks, art fairs and memorabilia showcases. With a unique view of the main Hammons Field entrance, the Plaza is a great place to start, end or host your event.

The Entire Stadium is rentable for large scale events. An entire stadium rental would include all areas showcased on this webpage and would be intended for groups with anticipated attendees in the hundreds or thousands. With an occupancy of roughly 10,500 (7,986 stadium seats), the Entire Stadium is perfect for large community events like concerts, graduations, benefits or a variety of fairs. Previous large-scale events include Dinner on the Diamond, Celebrate Springfield and September 11 Stair Climb for Charity.

The SpringNet Champions Club at Hammons Field is located on the second level with a fantastic view of the field from the first base line. Perfectly suited for company meetings, Christmas and birthday parties, graduation parties and rehearsal dinners, the SpringNet Champions Club offers an upscale indoor and outdoor rental space unlike any other in the area.

Our Baseball Field at Hammons Field has won multiple awards not only for the region but has received nationwide recognition, including the 2024 SFMA Professional Baseball Field of the Year. Rentable for more basic baseball events like high school/youth/club games, home run derbies and slow pitch games, but can also be used for more unique events like cornhole, dodgeball and wiffleball games/tournaments. The field is the perfect place to finish a 5K or Fun Run.
