Track-or-Treat, presented by Mediacom, returns to Route 66 Stadium on Friday, October 30! Enjoy a free night filled with Halloween fun from 4:00 - 9:00 PM.

Award-winning Route 66 Stadium provides Southwest Missouri and the Ozarks with a memorable setting for professional & collegiate baseball and a variety of special events in the heart of downtown Springfield, playing host to the Springfield Cardinals (Double-A Minor League Baseball affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals) and the Missouri State Bears (NCAA Division 1) since 2005.

Opened in 2025, the Executive Level at Route 66 Stadium is our most premium rental area. With four adjacent top-of-the-line suites which have the absolute best view of the field, the Executive Level can be scaled up or down for personal or professional get-togethers like company meetings, Christmas parties, birthday parties and more!

The Training Facility at Route 66 Stadium is our largest indoor event space. Perfect for awards ceremonies, company retreats, memorabilia shows, luncheons and baseball/softball practices, the Training Facility offers a large and maluable temperature controlled space that can be adjusted to fit any event needs.

The Plaza at Route 66 Stadium is an open air event space perfect for community gathering events like 5Ks/Fun Runs/Walks, art fairs and memorabilia showcases. With a unique view of the main Hammons Field entrance, the Plaza is a great place to start, end or host your event.

The Entire Stadium is rentable for large scale events. An entire stadium rental would include all areas showcased on this webpage and would be intended for groups with anticipated attendees in the hundreds or thousands. With an occupancy of roughly 10,500 (7,986 stadium seats), the Entire Stadium is perfect for large community events like concerts, graduations, benefits or a variety of fairs. Previous large-scale events include Dinner on the Diamond, Celebrate Springfield and September 11 Stair Climb for Charity.

The SpringNet Champions Club at Route 66 Stadium is located on the second level with a fantastic view of the field from the first base line. Perfectly suited for company meetings, Christmas and birthday parties, graduation parties and rehearsal dinners, the SpringNet Champions Club offers an upscale indoor and outdoor rental space unlike any other in the area.

Our Route 66 Stadium Clubhouses are a one-of-a-kind event space that delight baseball lovers and casual fans alike. With both home and road clubhouses, each offer a temperature controlled indoor space good for smaller scale events like company meetings or birthday parties. No where else in Southwest Missouri can an event take place in such a unique space.

Our Baseball Field at Route 66 Stadium has won multiple awards not only for the region but has received nationwide recognition, including the 2024 SFMA Professional Baseball Field of the Year. Rentable for more basic baseball events like high school/youth/club games, home run derbies and slow pitch games, but can also be used for more unique events like cornhole, dodgeball and wiffleball games/tournaments. The field is the perfect place to finish a 5K or Fun Run.

We're happy to have hosted, Dinner on the Diamond for 6 years now. I am grateful for the professionalism, positive approach, and competency every staff member, no matter what their assigned job. Springfield Cardinals were very responsive throughout the entire planning process, they were very accommodating to all our needs. Notably in events you have changes at every turn, when they received very short notice on headcount changes, they were very helpful, they immediately revisited the seating chart, and really understood our desire to have a full house for Dinner on the Diamond benefiting the Shelly Sachs Foundation. They work with our timeline and obliging our ideas to add Louie with a game we now call "Ball Cap or Tail Feathers". Adding Louie to the event was huge this year and brought smiles to all our guests."
