Lennerton's 5 RBI lead Hens over Bats, 7-3

Jordan Lennerton and the Toledo offense jumped to a strong series start, winning 7-3 over Louisville Thursday night.

The win puts the Hens in sole possession of third place.

Jordan Lennerton's three-run home run in the third inning was just the begging of the offensive explosion that was more than the Mud Hens needed. Lennerton now has 10 home runs this season and 53 RBI.

Lennerton, who went 2-for-3 on the night, collected five RBI and scored the other two runs.

Buck Farmer threw seven innings and allowed on one run and earned his first win as a Mud Hen. His season record sits even at 1-1.

Tyler Collins collected three hits, Manny Pina had two hits and Hernan Perez stole his 21st base this season.

The Hens (68-72) will play the Bats (67-69) tomorrow night, first pitch is at 7:05.
