We are happy you are here, please know that we are committed to providing a safe and clean environment for you and your family. We want your game day experience to be the best ever.

Our team has worked with the Ohio Department of Health, Toledo-Lucas County Health Department, and Major League Baseball to adapt our health and safety policies for the 2021 season. Every fan plays an integral role in keeping Fifth Third Field a safe environment to enjoy Mud Hens baseball.

Please take a moment to review the Health and Safety Guidelines at Fifth Third Field.

Health & Safety Guidelines

  • Guests are recommended to keep a six-foot distance between themselves and other groups when entering and exiting the ballpark.
  • Guests will be assigned a specific entry gate, listed on your ticket.
  • Guests may go through low-contact security screening.
  • To ensure the entry process runs smoothly, all fans must read and consent to the Mud Hens Fan Health Promise before reserving tickets and entering Fifth Third Field.

NEW: Bag restrictions will be in place for 2021.

  • Only small clutches, diaper and medical bags will be permitted into Fifth Third Field.
  • Small clutch bags, with or without a handle or strap, should not exceed 4.5" x 8". Small clutch bags allow privacy for small personal items.
  • Guests will be asked to return all non-permitted items back to their vehicles.
  • Some pre- and in-game promotions will take place on the field, many will still happen off the field. The 2021 promotional schedule will be released soon.

There is no mask mandate at Fifth Third Field, however, we recommend:

  • Guests continue to wear a mask if you are not fully vaccinated
  • Guests consider updated CDC recommendations for fully vaccinated individuals | MORE INFO

There will be no social distancing requirements at Fifth Third Field, however, we recommend all groups use caution and make an effort to keep space between themselves and other groups when possible.

  • MLB safety protocols currently prohibit players from signing fan autographs or throwing baseballs or other items into the seating bowl.
  • The Kiwanis Club Kids Play Area, 'Muddy’s Marsh', opens for play on June 8 through the remainder of the season.
  • We recommend guests eat and drink in their designated seating area.
  • Dedicated staff will maintain the cleaning and sanitation of the ballpark.
  • Additional handwashing and hand sanitizing stations have been added throughout the ballpark.
  • Restrooms have designated entrances and exits.
