Toledo ranks 11th among U.S cities in quality of life

The Blade reports that Toledo ranks 11th among U.S. cities for quality of life, according to NerdWallet, a financial literacy Web site.

NerdWallet ranked 100 cities on six factors: housing costs as a percentage of income, percentage of population with health insurance, percentage of people with incomes below the poverty level, unemployment, mean weekly hours worked, and mean travel time to work. The six factors were weighted equally.

Toledo did especially well in the housing costs and commute time categories.
