GreenJackets Announce Opening Homestand

7 Games Jam Packed with Fun

AUGUSTA, GA: The Augusta GreenJackets, Single-A affiliate of the 2015 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants, have announced their full slate of promotions for the 2015 Opening Weekend and Opening Homestand.

"The countdown is on for Opening Night and we have a jam packed first home stand in store," stated General Manager Tom Denlinger. "We invite the CSRA to come out and Catch the Buzz with us!"

The GreenJackets welcome the affiliates of the Atlanta Braves (Rome Braves) and New York Yankees (Charleston RiverDogs) to Lake Olmstead Stadium during their Opening Homestand. Opening Night (Thursday, April 16th) will feature the 2015 Magnet Schedule Giveaway for the first 3,500 fans courtesy of the Augusta Chronicle, GRHealth & NBC26. Also, fans can enjoy an Opening Night Happy Hour (6:00 to 7:30 PM) with half-priced beverages. Fans attending the Friday, April 17th game will "Meet the GreenJackets" for a pre-game Autograph session and the first 2,500 fans will receive a 2015 Team Photo presented by GRHealth. On Saturday, April 18th the GreenJackets will host their annual Faith and Family Night with a pregame concert (starting at 5:30) performed by Charlotte based Christian Rock band Waiting Hill. Rounding out Opening Weekend will be the first Junior Jackets Kid Club Sunday presented by Tum-e-Yummies (Kids 12 and under can join for free by visiting www.greenjacketsbaseball.com/juniorjackets  

The next three games feature three of the GreenJackets most popular weekly promotions. April 20th features Donate Life Night presented by LifeLink Foundation and leads off the 2015 installment of WRDW Feed Your Face Mondays, where eight select menu items have been chosen as all-you-can-eat (included in the ticket price) until the end of the 6th inning. Those eight menu items will be released by WRDW's Sportscaster Kevin Faigle. Monday's also feature the PBR Pre-game from 6-7.    Tuesday, April 21st brings back SweetWater Brewery BOGO Bevs, where all draft beer and fountain soda are buy-one-get-one-free. The Opening Homestand closes with a return of Baseball in Education Day, with a 10:35 AM first pitch.
