WOW! Teacher of the Month

Along with powering the GreenJackets' home, SRP Park, with internet, phone and TV services, WOW! is excited to honor outstanding educators through their Teacher of the Month Award. Any student, parent or family member can nominate a teacher in the CSRA that goes above and beyond to create a positive impact within their community. Once a month, one Teacher of the Month winner will be awarded this honor at a GreenJackets game with an on-field presentation and recognition on our videoboard.

The selected teacher will receive:

Four (4) Reserved Tickets
F$40 Loaded Ticket Value
A Plaque for the accomplishment
$500 from WOW! for classroom expenses

The nominating student and family will also get:

Contest Rules

All Augusta GreenJackets (herein listed as “Company”) contests are open to any resident of the Central Savannah River Area.
All contestants must be at least 18 years of age to participate in any contest conducted by “Company”.
Certain contests may require that you be 21 or older.
Employees of “Company”, affiliated entities, its affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/ participating promotional partners, other media outlets in the Central Savannah River Area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or to receive any prize awarded herein.
A winner will be disqualified if he/she or a member of his/her household has won a promotional contest with the “Company” within the previous 30 days.
Individual contests may have additional rules
A contest and its length are determined by contest rules
“Company” reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value in the event any prize awarded becomes unavailable.
Prizes not claimed within 30 days are automatically forfeited.
If arrangements have been made to claim a prize past the 30 day period, proof of arrangement must be in written form from prize winner prior to the 30 day cut off period.
Once receipt of prize has taken place prize cannot be returned to “Company” for any reason.
“Company” reserves the right to not release prizes to ineligible persons without notice.
All winners must complete a “Company” prize form providing “Company” with winners’ full name, home address & phone number.
Prizes may not be mailed and are not transferable.
Prizes may not be substituted or exchanged.
Prizes are not for Re-Sale.
By participating in any “Company” contest, the winner or winners agree to have their likeness, voice, and name used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to the contest, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize.
Further, names and likenesses of Winner may be used by “Company” and its designee(s) for promotional purposes without further compensation to or by “Company“ to the Promotional Winner.
Winners guarantee that they are eligible to win prize awarded and agree to forfeit any prize for which they are ineligible.
Winners must comply with all contest rules as published by “Company” on “Company” website
“Company” reserves the right to revise, withdraw, extend or otherwise modify contest without prior notification if necessary.
In the event of ties or other disputes, the decision of “Company” management shall be final and no duplicate prizes shall be awarded.
Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to hold “Company”, its corporate licensee, parent corporation, affiliated companies and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or contest.
“Company”” reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, which will become effective upon announcement.
Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification.

All prizes or prize certificates must be picked up at our offices located at – 187 Railroad Ave., North Augusta, SC. 29841 between the hours of 10:00 am & 4:30 pm Monday–Friday ONLY. Prizes may not be mailed and are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for cash or any other prizes
Contest is void where prohibited. “Company” is not responsible for mis-delivery of mail or e-mail, mis-direction of phone calls or any disruption of phone service, cellular service, ISP service, or any service what so ever.
By participating in our online contest, you agree to subscribe to the “Company” weekly newsletters as well as the weekly “The Buzz” Newsletter. There is no commitment with these newsletters as they are free, and you can unsubscribe at any time through the emails that you receive.
Beginning 5/1/20 12:01 a.m. users can nominate a teacher employed by a private or public school in anywhere that is part of Central Savannah River Area through the Teacher of the Month submission form. Users may nominate a teacher (or themselves) by correctly filling out the teacher’s name, teacher’s school, teacher’s contact information, providing a short description as to why this teacher is amazing, the name and phone number of the person filling out the form.
Nominees must be employed by a private or public school within Central Savannah River Area.
Nominees will be accepted from 5/1/20 12:01 am through the end of the 2020 baseball season at which time is yet to be determined. Winners will be chosen by the GreenJackets staff on the date and time of their discretion. Results are final.
Monthly prizes pack includes but is not limited to a plaque and $500 visa gift card.
Winner must be at least 18 years old. GreenJackets staff, their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a 100 mile radius of SRP Park are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
Monthly prize pack will be delivered to each month’s selected Teacher of the Month at a later time, pending the reopening of SRP Park provided by the state and federal government during the pandemic.
No purchase necessary. Prize is not transferrable or redeemable for cash. GreenJackets sole responsibility will be to award the prize. GreenJackets shall have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use any of the prize. Winner responsible for all applicable state and federal taxes. Winner may be required to show valid ID to obtain the prize. Fees and incidentals are not included.
