C's remain proactive on fireworks front
(Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium - Vancouver, B.C.) - The Vancouver Canadians Baseball Club has announced that due to the unstable air quality conditions throughout the Lower Mainland and the ongoing challenges that are faced with the warm weather throughout the region that all fireworks extravaganzas schedule for Nat Bailey Stadium have been postponed until further notice.
"Our sponsors and many fans understand the responsibility we have to our community and have been overwhelmingly supportive of our decisions to keep the focus on those brave men and women who are fighting to protect our province," states Canadians General Manager JC Fraser.
The fireworks extravaganzas have not been cancelled, simply postponed until conditions improve and a new date can be arranged.
