Rainout Policy

Fans with paid tickets for a game that has been postponed, suspended, or cancelled due to weather or unplayable field conditions will receive one (1) voucher per ticket that can be redeemed for an equal or lesser value ticket to another game in the 2024 season, based on availability.

Vouchers can be redeemed by visiting the Nat Bailey Stadium Box Office, by phoning 604-872-5232, or through your My C’s Tickets account any time after the game has officially been postponed, suspended, or cancelled due to weather or unplayable field conditions.

Only attending patrons will receive undated vouchers for tickets from postponed, suspended, or cancelled games in the 2024 season. If you purchased tickets and forwarded, donated, sold, or in any way transferred your tickets to another fan/organization, you will not be eligible to receive vouchers for those tickets. This policy encompasses all ticket holders, including full and half-season ticket holders and Flex Pack holders.

Fans with paid parking passes for a game that has been postponed, suspended, or cancelled due to weather or unplayable field conditions should keep the parking pass they were issued to use at any other game during the 2024 season.

NEW FOR 2024

Fans who redeemed Starting 9 Pack vouchers for tickets to a game that has been postponed, suspended, or cancelled due to weather or unplayable field conditions are only able to redeem their rainout vouchers for games in April, May, or June.

Fans who purchased tickets to Sunday, Tuesday, or Wednesday games that have been postponed, suspended, or cancelled due to weather or unplayable field conditions are only able to redeem their rainout vouchers for Sunday, Tuesday, or Wednesday games.

Rainy Day Terminology

Rain Delay

The game is temporarily paused due to rain. Games are placed in rain delay in the hope that the rain will pass, and the game can be resumed later that same day.

Suspended/Rain-Shortened

A game may be suspended at any point due to weather and resumed from the point of suspension another day.

A game is considered rain-shortened when the umpires halt play after the game is deemed official (after 4.5 innings when the Canadians are leading or after 5 innings if the game is tied or the visiting team is leading).

Postponed

A postponed game is one that has not started and will not be played on the originally scheduled date due to inclement weather or unplayable field conditions. Postponed games are typically made up as part of a single-admission doubleheader the next time the two teams meet.

Cancelled

A cancelled game is one that will not be rescheduled. Typically, games are deemed cancelled when the schedule does not permit the two teams to play another game against each other.
