Fisher Cats on the Move 2016 - Pt. 2

All throughout the offseason we'll keep you up to date on the new homes of former Fisher Cats

Deck McGuireA one-time first-round pick by the Blue Jays parlayed maybe his best pro season into a new job with one of the best organizations for developing pitchers. McGuire won 9 games and posted a 3.69 ERA across Double-A and Triple-A with the LA Dodgers.

Erik KratzOne of the longest-tenured FIsher Cats, and one of the original members of the 2004 team, Kratz joined the San Diego Padres on a minor league deal. He began last year with the Royals before playing Triple-A ball with Kansas City, Seattle, and Philadelphia.

Jonathan DiazAnother long-time Fisher Cat has signed on with the New York Yankees. Diaz was with the Blue Jays last year as they won the American League East for the first time in more than 20 years.

Ricky RomeroRomero will continue his comeback with the San Francisco Giants organization. He made a handful of appearances with the Giants' rookie affiliate last year.

Henderson AlvarezThe 2011 Fisher Cat signed a one-year deal with the Oakland A's after three seasons in Miami. Alvarez battle injuries in 2015, but had a breakout year in '14, winning 12 games and throwing a no-hitter on the final day of the season.

J.P. ArencibiaA nice bounceback season with the Rays' organization - 28 home runs between Triple-A and the majors - saw him land a spring training invite with the Phillies.

Jean MachiThe 2014 World Series champion (S.F. Giants) will try to help the Cubs snap a 109-year World Series drought after pitching on the west coast (San Francisco) and east coast (Boston Red Sox) in 2015.

Richard Bleier: A strong season with the Nationals organization landed him a new deal with the Yankees.

Scott BarnesAfter one year with the Blue Jays, Barnes followed Machi to the Cubs in hopes of returning to the major leagues.

Darin MastroianniThe speedy outfielder returns to the Twins after splitting 2015 in the Triple-A ranks for the Phillies and Washington.

Gregory Infante: The hard-throwing righty is now a member of the Phillies' organization.

Brad MillsThe lefty pitched one game in Oakland in 2015, but spent the majority of the season in Triple-A. He'll try to return to the majors with Seattle in 2016.
