Ports Approaching 6 Million Fans In Attendance

The milestone celebration is expected to take place this weekend
April 22, 2016

STOCKTON, Calif.- With only 8,736 fans to go, the Ports anticipate reaching their six millionth fan to walk through their gates during Saturday or Sunday's home game. In honor of the accomplishment, the Ports look to thank their loyal fans with a promotion for the individual who marks number six million in the Ports' record book for overall attendance since the team's inception.

The lucky fan will be greeted with a celebration at the gates, an on-field ceremony with a first pitch opportunity and a team autographed jersey, a suite for this Sunday's home game, and most notably, will receive six MVP season tickets for the remainder of the 2016 season.

"The Ports organization would like to thank all of our partners and fans, whether they have made it out to one game or thousands," said Ports General Manager Bryan Meadows. "This is a tremendous achievement made possible by all of our fans, who we cannot thank enough for their continued support."

Fans interested in becoming the six millionth fan can purchase tickets for this weekend's games at Stocktonports.com, at the Stockton Ports Box Office, or over the phone at 209-644-1900.

The Ports are currently hosting the Inland Empire 66ers in a four-game series which will end this Sunday and will be back in town on Sunday, May 1st as they welcome to visiting Modesto Nuts to Banner Island Ballpark.
