Canadians Announce 2016 Promo Schedule

38 home dates get stuffed with gate giveaways, appearances and long standing ballpark traditions

(Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium - Vancouver, B.C.) - The Vancouver Canadians Baseball Club has announced its Promotional Schedule for the upcoming 2016 season. Fans will be lining up early out front of historic Scotiabank Field for any of our nine (9) fireworks extravaganzas, seven (7) Scotiabank 'Nooners at The Nat, bobblehead giveaways, Superstar Series appearances and more!

Featured dates include Opening Night on Monday, June 20th at 7:05pm as the Canadians host the first of 38 regular season home games. Presented by Whistler Brewing, Opening Night will feature a magnetic schedule giveaway to the first 2,500 fans as well as a post-game fireworks extravaganza.

The Canadians will feature nine (9) fireworks extravaganzas in total with three of them coming in the first home stand to celebrate the return of our "Boys of Summer".

For those looking to soak up the sun while cheering on our hometown C's, you can count on seven sun drenched Scotiabank 'Nooners at The Nat which all have start times of 1:05pm. As well, if you want to bring the whole family out to wrap up the weekend, the Canadians feature six (6) A&W Family Fun Sundays that cater to those in your family 12 years of age and under. With a cool gate giveaway should you arrive early enough, and a post-game Run The Bases, our A&W Family Fun Sundays are a perfect way to celebrate your loved ones.

Fans of commemorative bobbleheads will want to circle both Wednesday, August 10th and Thursday, August 18th on the schedule as we feature rare Roberto Osuna and Kevin Pillar bobbleheads given away to the first 1,000 fans in attendance presented by The Keg Steakhouse + Bar and Scotiabank respectively.

And what would a summer out at historic Scotiabank Field be without our annual Superstar Series and visit from the Famous Chicken?! Join us as Blakes & The BC Sports Hall of Fame welcomes baseball greats Mike Cameron (June 22), Jack Morris (June 23), Dave Stieb (July 21) and JT Snow (July 29). BC Egg welcomes back the world renowned Famous Chicken on July 25th as this always proves to be one of the most enjoyable night's of the summer.
