Saturday's game against Wilmington postponed

Teams will play doubleheader Sunday at 2:05 p.m.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (May 28, 2016) - Saturday's game between the Myrtle Beach Pelicans and the Wilmington Blue Rocks has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday, with the first game getting underway at 2:05 p.m and the second game starting at 5:05 p.m. Gates will open at 1:30.

Fans can exchange tickets from Saturday's game for any remaining regular season Pelicans game this year or in the future. 

The Pelicans will start Jonathan Martinez (3-2, 3.35) in the first game of the doubleheader, with Zach Hedges (4-4, 2.70) getting the nod in the second game. Both games will be seven innings. Coverage of Sunday's doubleheader will begin at 1:50 p.m. on MyrtleBeachPelicans.com/Broadcast, the MiLB First Pitch app and TuneIn.
