Monday's game in Midland postponed; Colby Lewis likely to start Tuesday

Game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday, September 4

MIDLAND, TEXAS (August 29, 2016) - Monday night's game between the Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, and the Midland RockHounds has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader in Frisco on Sunday, starting at 4:30 p.m. Rangers rehabbing right-handed pitcher Colby Lewis' outing has now likely been pushed back to Tuesday in Frisco. 

The RoughRiders return home to take on the Corpus Christi Hooks Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. in the first game of the final homestand of the year at Dr Pepper Ballpark. Lewis (0-0, 3.38 ERA) will be opposed by Cy Sneed (6-5, 4.21) of Corpus Christi. Lewis is expected to throw four innings or approximately 65 pitches.

Tickets for the regularly scheduled game on Sunday, September 4 will be good for both games of the doubleheader. Both games will be seven-inning contests.

The homestand against the Corpus Christi Hooks and RockHounds runs through Monday and includes Bark in the Park Night presented by Muenster Pet Foods and VCA Animal Hospitals on Wednesday, August 31, along with State Fair of Texas Night on Friday, September 2.
