M-Braves defeat Generals 6-4

The Braves unloaded for 15 hits despite four errors to claim a 6-4 victory over the Generals Tuesday night. The series continues Wednesday at 6:05 PM.
Mississippi (25-26) scored six runs on 15 hits while Jackson (27-24) plated four runs on seven hits.
Former Atlanta Brave
After the inclement weather moved through the area, the Braves jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead in the first. Valenzuela and Demeritte both singled to start the frame before Meneses delivered a RBI-single to center. Jackson then responded to tie the game 1-1 in the bottom of the first thanks in large part to three M-Braves errors.
In the third, Acuna singled and Demeritte walked. Meneses added a single to load the bases for a
Valenzuela walked and scored on an Acuna double to left to start the fourth for the Braves. Acuna was thrown out at third. Demeritte then doubled and scored on another base hit from Meneses to give the M-Braves a 5-1 advantage.
The Generals responded in the bottom of the frame to make it a 5-3 game.
The Braves tacked on another run in the fifth.
