Curve come back late to top Fisher Cats in extras
MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Altoona Curve rallied tie the score in the ninth and pulled ahead in the tenth to beat the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 6-5, on Sunday afternoon at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.
MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Altoona Curve rallied tie the score in the ninth and pulled ahead in the tenth to beat the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 6-5, on Sunday afternoon at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.
The Curve (65-60) took two of three games in the series against the Fisher Cats (50-75), with both wins fueled by late comebacks.
Down by two runs in the top of the ninth inning,

With two outs and two on in the bottom of the eighth,
The Curve struck for two runs to open the scoring in the fourth. With two outs,
New Hampshire answered immediately in the bottom of the inning.
A pair of former Curve players struck as the Fisher Cats took a 3-2 lead in the sixth inning.
The Curve evened the score in the top of the seventh inning. With the bases loaded,
Curve starter J.T. Brubaker worked seven innings and allowed three runs with five strikeouts.
