Offense completes comeback in front of sellout crowd

In a game where Daniel Norris allowed four runs in the first three innings, the Mud Hens would come back to win 9-6 on Saturday night, ending a two-game losing streak. The offense was led by Efren Navarro, who finished 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI.

It was all Louisville early on as they jumped out to a 4-1 lead after three innings. The Bats got one run in the first against Toledo starter Daniel Norris despite Norris allowing two walks in the frame. 
Toledo tied the game in the bottom of the first as Jim Adduci singled and Omar Infante doubled to lead off the inning. An Efren Navarro ground out allowed Adduci to score and tie the game at 1-1 after one.
In the second, the Bats took back the lead with another run against Norris, but he was able to limit the damage. He allowed a walk and two singles to start the innign to load the bases with nobody out. Darnell Sweeney singled to right to score the go-ahead run, but Norris would strike out the side in order to keep the score at 2-1.
Norris would get touched up for a two-run home run off the bat of Zach Vincej in the third. His day was done after three, allowing four earned runs, four walks, and struck out five.
The Hens cut the lead to one in the bottom of the fourth as they scored a pair of runs. Navarro and Jeimer Candelario each singled to start the inning. Tyler Collins and Bryan Holaday followed with an RBI single apiece. However, Dominic Ficociello lined into a double play to put a stop to the inning. Toledo trailed 4-3 after four.
In the sixth, the Hens put a three-spot on the board to take its first lead of the game. Ficociello doubled to right to score Holaday to start things off in the inning. Luis Valdes sent home Ficociello with a single and Navaro picked up his second RBI with a hit to right. After six, the Hens led 6-3.
Louisville got one back in the seventh against reliever Bryan Garcia. Jose Duarte singled home Alex Blandino for the Bats.
Toledo responded right away with a run in the bottom of the seventh. Ficociello doubled for the second time in the contest and JaCoby Jones drove him home with a clutch two-out hit. After seven, Toledo led 7-5.
Against Bruce Rondón in the top of the eighth, the Bats scored a run when Tyler Goeddel walked and scored on a Brandon Dixon double. That run cut the lead to 7-6 late.
Looking for insurance runs in the bottom of the eighth, Ariel Hernández walked the bases loaded to start the inning. He was lifted for Jose Rafael De Paula as Candelario stepped to the plate. After battling with an 0-2 count, he eventually lifted a sacrifice fly to give the Hens a two-run lead. Collins followed and reloaded the bases when he walked. Holaday responded with a sac fly to center that allowed Infante to score, boosting the lead to 9-6. 
Edward Mujica came on to pitch the ninth with a three-run advantage. He would allow a one-out walk but eventually locked it down and gave Toledo a 9-6 win, stopping a two-game losing streak.
