FRISCO, Texas (April 19, 2018) - Despite overcoming multiple deficits, the Frisco RoughRiders, Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, fell 5-3 to the Corpus Christi Hooks Thursday night at Dr Pepper Ballpark.
BIG MOMENTS

  • The Riders erased deficits of 2-0 and 3-2 in the early going. Frisco scored twice in the fourth on a solo homer from Michael O'Neill and an RBI double from Luis Yander La O to tie the game 2-2.
  • After the Riders tied the game again 3-3 after six innings, Corpus Christi jumped ahead for good with two runs in the top of the eighth on RBIs from Randy César and Jamie Ritchie .
  • Rangers rehabber Delino Deshields went 1-for-3 with a bunt single in five innings of play Thursday. It was his first game on rehab after going on the disabled list March 31 with a fractured hamate bone in his left hand.
