SPRINGFIELD, MO - The Springfield Cardinals (20-11) fell 6-5 in extra innings to the Northwest Arkansas Naturals (15-15). It's the Cardinals second walkoff loss of the series.

Notables:
- Mike Antico homered on the third pitch of the game, his first longball this season with Springfield. It was the Cardinals first first inning leadoff homer this season.
- With an RBI single in the fourth, Jeremy Rivas extended his team-best on-base streak to 19 games, the second longest of his career (28 games in 2021, FCL Cardinals).
- After that RBI single from Rivas, Naturals pitching retired 12 Cardinals in a row. Antico ended the stretch with a leadoff double in the eighth inning.
- Ryan Shreve lowered his ERA to 0.57 thanks to three shutout frames with four strikeouts. His last charged run was on April 11.
- Andre Granillo struck out four batters in two shutout innings in the ninth and tenth.
- The Naturals walked off on a single to left thanks to River Town.
