Jays soar over Yankees 18-5
Jones, Guerrero homer twice
BLUEFIELD---The power hitters came alive for the Blue Jays in their 18-5 win over the Yankees Wednesday.
Bradley Jones went 3 for 3 with a grand slam and a two-run shot and notched 7 total RBI's on the night. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. brought his RBI total on the season to 31 with two solo homers for the Blue Jays. Levi Scott also excelled, going 2 for 3 with a double and a home run.
Bradley Jones is now second in the Appy League with 10 home runs, while Guerrero now has 7 total this season. Scott has also went yard five times this season.
Juliandry Higuera picked up the win to improve to (2-2), while Nick Nelson fell to (0-3). The Blue Jays are now 28-21, winners of four in a row.
The Jays will face Elizabethton Saturday at 7:05.
