Fireworks Night On July 5

The Bristol Pirates will host their annual fireworks night, sponsored by Pepsi, on Satuday, July 5 at Boyce Cox Field. The Bristol Pirates will be taking on the Pulaski Mariners for a one-game series after returning from a two-game series in Pulaski.

Crowds are expected to be large for this game, so please plan to arrive early and stay late as fireworks will light up the sky! Gates will open at 5:30 PM, with first pitch slated for 7:00 PM. The Virginia High School Band Concession will not be selling any special items during the night.

Barry Blair, author of "Unwound", will also be in attendance for autographs. His book, featuring a Pirates-Yankees World Series, will be available for purchase in the Treasure Chest.

Every Saturday and Sunday, kids are encouraged to stay and run the bases following the game and July 5 will be no exception! Kids, line up at the first base gate and run the bases following the fireworks!
