New Mudcats Homestand Starts May 23

ZEBULON, N.C. - The Carolina Mudcats return to Five County Stadium on Tuesday, May 23 for a six-game homestand versus the Texas Rangers affiliated Down East Wood Ducks. The next homestand features fan-favorite promotions including Starry Taco Tuesday, Winslow Homes Winning Wednesday, Micro Brews Thirsty Thursday™ and Bark in the Park Night, CBS 17 Friday Night Fireworks, Souvenir Saturday featuring a souvenir AgNight Cap giveaway presented by AgCarolina Farm Credit Union, and WakeMed Five County Family Sunday with $7 box seat tickets and post-game catch.

Starry Taco Tuesday: Taco Tuesday is presented by Starry and features $2.00 tacos and Starry drink specials for Tuesday night home games throughout the season (excluding 7/4). This Tuesday night only special is available at the Whisker’s Café concessions stand located on the first base side of Five County Stadium.

Wednesday, 5/24 vs. Down East Wood Ducks

First Pitch: 7:00 p.m. / Gates Open: 6:00 p.m.

Winning Wednesday presented by Winslow Homes: A Mudcats victory on the field means a victory for the fans in the stands with Winning Wednesday presented by Winslow Homes. Should the Mudcats win, then fans attending this Wednesday’s game can exchange their game ticket for a ticket of equal value, for free, to Carolina’s next Wednesday home game.

Thursday, 5/25 vs. Down East Wood Ducks

First Pitch: 7:00 p.m. / Gates Open: 6:00 p.m.

Carolina Micro Brews Thirsty Thursday™ & Bark in the Park Night: Thirsty Thursday™ features drink specials including half priced 24-ounce cans of Miller Lite, Yuengling, and Modelo, as well as half priced 20-ounce Pepsi products (excluding Gatorade). It's also the second Bark in the Park night of the season, giving fans the chance to bring their dog with them for a night of baseball fun at Five County Stadium. All dogs are free to attend with owner's paid admission. The Mudcats players will additionally play as the Carolina Micro Brews for Thursday's game on May 25. Additionally, the Johnston County Animal Protection League and the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina will be on-site with several dogs eligible for adoption.

Friday, 5/26 vs. Down East Wood Ducks

Friday Night Fireworks presented by CBS 17 News: The Mudcats will light up the night sky every Friday this season with Friday Night Fireworks. Enjoy baseball and the area's best fireworks show following each Friday home game this season.

Souvenir Saturday presented by AgCarolina Farm Credit Union: Souvenirs headline all Saturday home games this season at Five County Stadium. The next Souvenir Saturday giveaway features a mesh back Mudcats AgNight Cap presented by AgCarolina Farm Credit Union. All souvenir Saturday giveaway items are free to the first 1,000 fans with paid admission.

Sunday, 5/28 vs. Down East Wood Ducks

First Pitch: 1:00 p.m. / Gates Open: 12:00 p.m.

WakeMed Five County Family Sunday: Five County Family Sunday features $7.00 box seat level tickets for fans residing in one of Five County Stadium's five counties including Wake County, Franklin County, Nash County, Johnston County and Wilson County. Each Five County Family Sunday game concludes with a chance to play catch on the field after the game. Post-game catch is free and is open to fans of all ages.
