DANVILLE, Va. - The Danville Braves have announced their 2017 promotional schedule, as well as new ticket packages for the upcoming season. The promotional schedule features fan favorite promotions from past seasons such as weekly promos and fireworks, as well as new events for 2017, including Mystery Bobblehead Night, two Steal the Pint Nights presented by Blue Ridge Beverage, Blooper's Beach Bash presented by LeBleu Water, and the Danville Braves 5K presented by Planet Fitness. The promotional schedule kicks off on Opening Night, Sunday June 25, with the traditional magnet schedule giveaway and a pre-game concert from Jason Springs as part of the Danville Braves Community Concert Series presented by Danville Toyota. Opening Night will be a special 6pm game time with gates opening at 4:45pm.
In addition to Opening Night, the Danville Braves Community Concert Series will bring live music to Legion Field before every Friday and Saturday home game throughout the 2017 season, with a total of 10 pre-game concerts.
The D-Braves July 3 matchup against Elizabethton will feature post-game fireworks in celebration of Independence Day. There will also be fireworks on the final Saturday home game of the season on August 19.
Bobbleheads return to the D-Braves promotional schedule with a Bob Kitzmiller bobblehead giveaway on July 7 presented by DCC Educational Foundation, Danville Toyota, M&M Furniture, Piney Forest Health & Rehabiliation Center, and Safe Driving School of the Piedmont and a
Blooper will host his mascot friends from around the Appalachian League, Minor League Baseball, Averett University, and more for a Beach Bash presented by LeBleu Water on July 28. Blooper and friends will be available to meet fans prior to the game against Johnson City and then will compete in on-field contests throughout the evening.
The 2017 D-Braves promotional schedule also features two special events - the Danville Braves 5K presented by Planet Fitness on July 15 and the second annual Braves & Brews beer tasting event on August 19. Fans interested in participating in the 5K can find more information and register for the race at dbraves.com/5K. Tickets for the Braves & Brews beer tasting event will be available closer to the start of the season.
Each of the popular weekly promotions from 2016 return again in 2017, including Dollar Monday, $2 Tuesday, and Thirsty Thursday. Kids Free Sundays has moved to Wednesdays, with all kids 12 and under able to receive a free ticket with a paid adult admission. Dollar Monday will once again feature $1 hot dogs, souvenir sodas, and popcorn. $2 Tuesday presented by Terry Blakely State Farm will allow fans to purchase $2 general admission tickets, tallboys, hot dogs, corn dogs, and French fries. Fan favorite Thirsty Thursday presented by Buffalo Wild Wings will again feature discounted fountain and draft beverages.

New Ticket Packages
The Danville Braves also announced new ticket packages for the 2017 season, including a half-season ticket option and the Community Concert Series ticket plan, joining the standard full-season ticket option and the five-game mini plan. Additionally, military members can now purchase a discounted Blue Reserved ticket to any of the D-Braves 34 home games.

Full-Season Ticket
Season tickets start at $110.50 and grant the ticket holder admission to all 34 D-Braves home games during the 2017 season. Season ticket holders also receive a season ticket holder gift and Braves Bucks, as well as a discount at the team store and other season ticket holder benefits.
Half-Season Ticket* New for 2017!
Fans not able to commit to all 34 home games can buy a half-season ticket good for 17 D-Braves games. The half-season ticket comes in the form of 17 vouchers that can be redeemed for tickets to games of the ticket holder's choosing.
5-Game Mini Plan
For just $35, fans can secure a seat to any five D-Braves games of their choosing with a 5-game mini plan.
Concert Series Ticket Plan* New for 2017!
The popular Danville Braves Community Concert Series presented by Danville Toyota returns again in 2017, and fans can take advantage of a special ticket plan for the 10 games that feature a pre-game concert. The Concert Series Ticket costs $70.
Standing Military Discount** New for 2017!
All active and retired military personnel can purchase a Blue Reserved ticket to any D-Braves home game at a discounted price of $7 (in advance or at the gate).
