D-Braves Host Pulaski, Johnson City for Six Games

Promotions include Ronald Acuña Jr. bobblehead giveaway and baseball's smallest videoboard night

DANVILLE, Va. - The Danville Braves will continue the 2018 home schedule against the Pulaski Yankees and Johnson City Cardinals at Legion Field from July 18-23.

DANVILLE, Va. - The Danville Braves will continue the 2018 home schedule against the Pulaski Yankees and Johnson City Cardinals at Legion Field from July 18-23.

The Braves will open its homestand against the Yankees at 7 p.m. on Wednesday with "Perfect Family" night and a food drive to benefit God's Storehouse. The D-Braves recognize that there are no perfect families, but there are perfect family deals. Fans can purchase four blue reserved seats, four hot dogs and four souvenir sodas for $30. Wednesday also marks Kids Free Wednesday, where all kids 12 and under receive a free general admission ticket with a paid adult ticket. Before the game, fans that bring a canned food item will be entered in for a chance to win an autographed baseball by an Atlanta Braves player.
On Thursday, the D-Braves will host Goodwill Night and Thirsty Thursday. Fans can bring a Goodwill donation truck that will be parked outside the gate and receive a free general admission ticket. In partnership with Buffalo Wild Wings, Danville will also offer reduced prices on draft and fountain beverages.
On Friday, the D-Braves will break out the smallest videoboard in baseball. The first 500 fans will receive a set of binoculars, courtesy of First Citizens Bank, have the chance to participate in various contests throughout the evening, and one lucky fan will get to take the videoboard home with them.
Danville will host its first of three bobblehead nights on Saturday. The first 500 fans will receive a bobblehead of Ronald Acuña and Andruw Jones presented by Comfort Inn & Suites, which celebrates the future and past of Atlanta Braves baseball. Bobbleheads will be limited to one per fan, not ticket.
At 4 p.m. on Sunday, Danville will celebrate Virginia529 Sunday. Any Virginia 529 plan holder can get up to two free general admission tickets with a card, bill or other appropriate documentation.
On Monday, the D-Braves will host Joe Torre Safe at Home Awareness night, Faith Night and Dollar Monday. The Danville Braves will be raising awareness and funds for Haven of the Dan River Region, which raises awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault and provides services for victims in the Dan River region. To raise funds, the Braves invite fans to participate in a mystery ball sale, where fans can purchase baseballs signed by minor league and major league baseball players. Fans can also participate in an auction to win an autographed Joe Torre baseball. In addition to this evening, church groups are eligible for discounted group ticket rates and fans can purchase souvenir sodas, hot dogs and popcorn for just $1.
