Many top singers have often said one of their most memorable thrills has been performing the National Anthem prior to a sporting event. The Tulsa Drillers are hoping to give select, local singers the opportunity to experience that feeling this summer.

The Drillers are now asking for video applications from individuals and groups that are interested in performing the Star Spangled Banner prior to a game this summer.

To be considered, send a video of yourself or your group singing the entire National Anthem to entertainment@tulsadrillers.com or a DVD to:

Tulsa Drillers
Attn: National Anthem
201 N. Elgin Ave.
Tulsa, OK 74120

Please include your name, daytime phone number and e-mail address with all submissions.

All entries must be received by Monday, February 4, 2013 to be eligible.

The Drillers will review the entries and contact a select number of participants to come to ONEOK Field on Saturday, February 9 for an INVITATION ONLY final audition.

"This will be the second year we have used the video application process. In the first year we received a record amount of submissions," said Justin Gorski, the Drillers Game Entertainment Manager. "We hope to receive even more talented submissions this season. We want to have the best Oklahoma has to offer showcased in front of Drillers' fans in 2013!"
