Signed with the New York Yankees as an international free agent out of Venezuela on July 2, 2015... full name is Oswaldo Alberto Cabrera Mabaricuna... promoted from Triple-A to New York on Aug. 17, 2022 for his Major League debut.

2021

Combined with Double-A Somerset and Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to hit .272/.330/.533 (127-for-467) with 72R, 31 doubles, 2 triples, 29HR, 89RBI, 41BB and 21SB in 118 games…made 50 starts at 2B, 35 starts at 3B and 23 starts at SS....Led all Yankees minor leaguers in RBI and total bases (249), ranked second in hits, doubles, home runs, extra base hits, and slugging, tied for fourth in runs, tied for fifth in OPS (.863) and 10th in BA...Spent the majority of the season with Double-A Somerset, batting .256/.311/.492 (112-for-437) with 61R, 29 doubles, 1 triple, 24HR, 78RBI, 36BB and 20SB…led the Double-A Northeast in hits, RBI, extra-base hits (54) and total bases (215), as well as ranking third in home runs, tied for fourth in doubles and tied for fifth in stolen bases (20)… was the only player in the league with 20HR and 20SB…following the season, he was named the Double-A Northeast Most Valuable Player and a Postseason All-Star...Was promoted to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on 9/21 and hit .500/.583/1.133 (15-for-30) with 11R, 2 doubles, 1 triple, 5HR, 5BB and 1SB...Following the season, he was tabbed by Baseball America as the Yankees’ No. 8 prospect...Was added to the 40-man roster on 11/19.

In 120 games at Single-A Tampa, hit .260 (117-for-450) with 55R, 29 doubles, 8HR, 56RBI and 10SB…ranked sixth among Yankees minor leaguers in hits…tied for third in the Florida State League in doubles, tied for seventh in hits and tied for eighth total bases (170).

2018

Spent the entire season with Single-A Charleston, batting .229 (111-for-485) with 48R, 24 doubles, 1 triple, 6HR, 48RBI and 28BB in 126 games.

2017

Combined at Single-A Charleston and short-season Single-A Staten Island to hit .252 (103-for-408) with 49R, 14 doubles, 1 triple, 4HR and 53RBI in 112 games…appeared at 3B (41G), 2B (40G) and SS (31G)...Started and finished the season with Charleston, hitting .242 (77-for-318) with 37R, 11 doubles, 4HR and 37RBI in 89 games…at 18 years and 1 month, was the youngest player to make a 2017 Opening Day roster in the South Atlantic League....Appeared in 23 games in one stint with Staten Island, hitting .289 (26-for-90) with 12R, 3 doubles, 1 triple and 16RBI.

2016

Played at three levels in his professional debut, combining to hit .345/.396/.523 (68-for-197) with 33R, 15 doubles, 4 triples, 4HR, 25RBI and 7SB in 52 games with the DSL Yankees 2, GCL Yankees East and Rookie-level Pulaski....Began the season in the DSL and hit .441/.487/.647 (30-for-68) with 15R, 5 doubles, 3 triples, 1HR and 12RBI in 19 games...Was promoted to the GCL on 7/14 and recorded at least 1H and 1R in all seven games (7/15-23), batting .455/.471/.818 (15-for-33) with 9R, 6 doubles, 2HR and 6RBI.
