BRADENTON, FLA.: Due to inclement weather, Sunday afternoon's scheduled 1 p.m. contest between the Florida Fire Frogs and Bradenton Marauders at LECOM Park was postponed. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader when Bradenton visits Kissimmee in August. The Marauders prevailed in two of the three series games, taking the series from the Fire Frogs.
NEXT UP: Now with the season's longest road trip in the rear-view mirror, the Fire Frogs come home to Osceola County Stadium to begin a four-game series against the Charlotte Stone Crabs (Advanced-A Rays) on Belly Buster Monday evening at the Pond. For $19, you get admission to the ball game and all-you-can-eat hot dogs, hamburgers, and popcorn. There also is FREE BEER for fans in attendance from first pitch until the Stone Crabs score their first run. If they do score, then with the purchase of a souvenir cup fans can purchase $2 beers for the rest of the game.
