Astros to host press conference regarding mascots

GREENEVILLE, TN- The Greeneville Astros will host a press conference on Wednesday, November 13 at 10:00am to make an announcement regarding longtime mascots, Tennessee Tex and Tennessee Tess.

Tennessee Tex has been with the Astros organization since their inaugural season in 2004 and just finished up his tenth season as the Astros' mascot. Tennessee Tess, the sister of Tex, joined the club in 2006 and recently concluded her eighth season.

The press conference will be held in the Astros' conference room at Pioneer Park, located on the campus of Tusculum College. The event will be open to the public.
