Erickson, Gurrrero to attend JetHawks game
Erickson made his big-league debut with the Minnesota Twins in 1990 and exploded to stardom the year after, winning 20 games and being selected for the American League All-Star team while guiding the Twins to a World Series championship. He went on to pitch 17 seasons in the Major Leagues, mostly with the Twins and the Baltimore Orioles. He also pitched for the New York Mets, Texas Rangers, Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees.
Guerrero has appeared as an actress in several television and movie roles, and is perhaps best known as a sports reporter. A former NFL cheerleader, she went on to become a sports reporter in Los Angeles for KCBS and KTTV. From there, Guerrero became a co-host on Fox's "Best Damn Sports Show Period." This helped launch her to ABC's "Monday Night Football," where she worked as a sideline reporter. She can now be seen on the syndicated program "Inside Edition."
Guerrero is also one of the stars of "A Plumm Summer." Co-starring Henry Winkler and William Baldwin, and narrated by Jeff Daniels, the film was produced by Guerrero and Erickson. The film also stars Clint Howard, who discussed the making of the film on the JetHawks radio broadcast when he visited Clear Channel Stadium last season during an appearance.
The JetHawks return from their current road trip on Friday to open up a seven-game homestand against Lake Elsinore and Rancho Cucamonga. Individual game tickets, as well as ticket packages, are available for most JetHawks games. Tickets may be ordered by calling (661) 726-5400 or may by visiting www.JetHawks.com online.
