Talladega Nights at Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- Sports and entertainment merge in so many ways, and tonight at Whataburger Field, NASCAR fans and moviegoers alike will delight in having the opportunity to see up close the Ricky Bobby Wonder Bread car, as seen in the movie "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" starring Will Ferrell.

The #26 Ricky Bobby car will be on display just outside the main entrance to Whataburger Field from 4:00 this afternoon until roughly 8:00 tonight.

In addition to the display of the Ricky Bobby car, two-time NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Champion and Corpus Christi native Terry Labonte will be on hand at tonight's Hooks' playoff game to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Game time tonight is 7:05, with the stadium gates set to open at 5:30.
