Bakersfield's Chris Davis is quietly joining the likes of Mitch Hilligoss, Brandon Watson and Mat Gamel. Through Sunday, he owns a league-best 28-game hitting streak. More

The Dunedin Blue Jays, who finished the first half with a 31-39 record, seem to have turned it around in the second half. They own an 11-7 record and are 1 1/2 games behind Tampa in the West Division. More

Midwest League
Denis Phipps's career night led the Dragons to a 20-3 win over Great Lakes on Thursday. Phipps hit his first professional grand slam and drove in a career-high six runs. More

Another hot week kept Kannapolis' Chris Carter on top of the leaderboards. He currently paces the South Atlantic League with 18 homers. More

New York-Penn League
Jedidiah Stephen was one of three Minor League players to hit for the cycle on Saturday. He became just the second player in Aberdeen history to accomplish the feat. More
