Beavers finalize TV schedule

March 18, 2008
PORTLAND, Ore. -- FSN and the Portland Beavers today announced the complete television schedule for the 2008 season, which includes a slate of 20 Beavers games televised throughout FSN's five-state territory. The Beavers' FSN television schedule begins on Opening Day, as Portland faces the Fresno Grizzlies live from PGE Park at 7 p.m.

The new 20-game schedule is a result of a multi-year agreement announced during the off-season between FSN and PGE Park to broadcast Portland Beavers games exclusively throughout the Northwest. The agreement is the largest in the team's history and, during the first year, will include match-ups against the divisional-rival Salt Lake Bees on April 21, a visit from the defending Pacific Coast League-champion Sacramento River Cats on May 29, and a battle of Northwest teams as the Tacoma Rainiers and Beavers play back-to-back games on FSN on July 4 and July 5.

Veteran Portland Beavers broadcaster Rich Burk will provide the play-by-play action, along with color analyst and former major league pitcher Scott Anderson for the entire 20-game schedule live on FSN. Below is the complete 2008 Portland Beavers television schedule on FSN.
