Scrappers Conclude Home Schedule September 1
The Mahoning Valley Scrappers home schedule will come to a close when they start a six game homestand that runs from Aug. 27 through Sept. 1. The Scrappers will play host to the Batavia Muckdogs and the Auburn Doubledays and highlighting the homestand will be Zombie Survival Night, Friday Fireworks and two Fan Appreciation Nights. A detailed list of the homestand is below:
Monday, August 27 vs. Batavia @ 7:05 PM
- Aug. 27 is Every Monday Matters presented by Grace Fellowship Church. Bring a non-perishable food item, children's book or clothing and receive a free General Admission game ticket.
- Tonight is also Mullet Appreciation Night sponsored by K-105, Y-103 and Twisted Tea. Show your mullet style hair cut at the Box Office for a free General Admission ticket to the game.
- Gates open at 6:00 pm.
Tuesday, August 28 vs. Batavia @ 7:05 PM
- Tuesday is $2 Tuesday presented by Handel's, Hershey's and Pepsi. Hot dogs, 16oz. drinks, appetizers and ice cream sandwiches are just $2 each.
- Tonight is also Guy's Night Out and Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots with activities centered towards men, all courtesy of Rock 104.
- Gates open at 6:00 pm.
Wednesday, August 29 vs. Batavia @ 7:05 PM
- Wednesday concludes the series with Batavia and is Military Appreciation Night sponsored by Carter Lumber. Show a Military ID at the Scrappers Box office for two free box seat game tickets.
- 50's Night presented by AT&T Yellow Pages & YP.com is also scheduled for Wednesday with a tribute to all things from the 1950's, including pop culture, historical events and notable figures.
- Gates open at 6:00 pm.
Thursday, August 30 vs. Auburn @ 7:05 PM
- Aug. 30 starts a new series with the Auburn Doubledays and it is Buck Night presented by PNC Bank. General admission tickets, hot dogs, and 12oz. drinks are just $1 each.
- Thursday is Zombie Survival Night at Eastwood Field where fans are encouraged to dress up as zombies and the night will focus around how to survive from Zombie outbreaks.
- Gates open at 6:00 pm.
Friday, August 30 vs. Auburn @ 7:05 PM
- Friday is the first of two Fan Appreciation Nights featuring $1 General Admission tickets along with concession and merchandise specials. Bring any unused ticket from the 2012 season to the box office for a free general admission game ticket.
- Tonight is also Salute to the Toothbrush sponsored by G. Thomas Noakes.
- After the game there will the final fireworks show of the year presented by Custom Recycling Solutions, 21 WFMJ and WBCB.
- Gates open at 6:00 pm.
Saturday, September 1 vs. Auburn @ 7:05 PM
- Saturday is the final home game of the 2012 season.
- Sept. 1 is is the second of two Fan Appreciation Nights featuring $1 General Admission tickets along with concession and merchandise specials. Bring any unused ticket from the 2012 season to the box office for a free general admission game ticket.
- Stick around after the game Saturday for Scrappers Night Live featuring a post-game concert sponsored by House Medic.
