Mountain Man returns to State College TONIGHT!
State College Spikes fans will be "Happy Happy Happy" to see the return of "Mountain Man" from the popular A&E reality show Duck Dynasty on Saturday, July 26 at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. "Mountain Man" will once again meet and greet fans and be part of the in-game entertainment when the Spikes host the Auburn Doubledays (Washington Nationals) at 7:05 p.m.
The appearance is presented by Service Master by Holobinko & Merry Maids and BIG Froggy 101. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. for the game, and fans are encouraged to bring out the camo and grow out their beards for a "Happy Happy Happy" night at the ballpark.

Last season, "Mountain Man" worked overtime to ensure that Spikes fans had a memorable experience at the ballpark. The reality show star stayed after the game for nearly three hours to greet and sign autographs for every fan in line, finally concluding his evening at 12:15 a.m.
In fact, the overtime autograph session lasted longer than the game, which went 2 hours and 19 minutes before ending with a Spikes victory over Auburn. While Mountain Man's famously slow speech pattern may have lost even more speed as the night wore on, he continued to give fans a tremendous experience, signing over 2,000 total autographs.
"Mountain Man," whose real name is Tim Guraedy, is a neighbor to the Robertsons, the Louisiana family that made a fortune from its best-selling duck calls, and around which the show is based. "Mountain Man" is the only semi-regular cast member who is not a Robertson family member or employee of Duck Commander. He is a neighbor who operates his own air-conditioning repair business and is known for talking very slowly.
During his appearance, "Mountain Man" will hold a free fan meet and greet on the ballpark concourse during the game, will serve as a guest PA announcer using his famously-slow speech pattern, oversee a frog legs eating contest, and participate in other game night promotional activities.
Duck Dynasty, now in its sixth season, has become A&E's most-watched series in the network's history. The August 14, 2013 Season 4 premiere episode attracted a record of over 11.7 million viewers, two million more than the Season 3 finale, which held the previous high mark. Season 6 began on June 11, and is set to run throughout the summer.
