Mascot Band, Fireworks and More on July 23rd!
The third game of a four-game series between the Reading Phillies and the Binghamton
Mets will take place on Saturday, July 23rd. VIST Financial gates will open to fans at
4:30 pm, and the first pitch is scheduled for 6:35 pm.
As with every Saturday this summer, the National Penn Bank R-Phils Mascot Band will be
performing a spectacular pre-game concert on the Weston Center Winning Smiles Stage from
4:45-5:45 pm. The R-Phils Mascot Band is celebrating its 10th year playing at FirstEnergy
Stadium, and is loved by fans of all ages you dont want to miss out on this
concert!
During the R-P-Phils Mascot Band pre-game concert, fans ages 21-years and older can enjoy
the Miller Lite Happy Hour from 4:30-5:30 pm, featuring $1 off all beers. Kids can also
enjoy the Redners R-Phils Kids Club Happy Half Hour with free Phunland from
4:30-5:00 pm.
Current Philadelphia Phillies hitting coach and former R-Phils hitting coach Greg Gross is
bringing his ALS Auction back to FirstEnergy Stadium for a second time this season, and
fans can once again bid on items benefitting the fight against Lou Gehrigs disease.
Once the VIST Financial Plaza gates open at 5:00 pm, all fans will have the opportunity to
bid on great autographed memorabilia.
Every Saturday night during the 2011 season will feature sensational dance performances by
the Reading Phillies Dance Team. Directed and choreographed by Jennifer Caputo Pietrobone,
of Academy of Movement Dance Studio, the R-Phils Dance Team will have three performances
throughout the night, including before, during, and after the game.
After the game has concluded, R-Phils fans will want to stick around for a great fireworks
show, presented by Carpenter Technology Corp. Once the fireworks have concluded, there
will also be a post-game concert on the Weston Center Winning Smiles Stage, with music by
Grammy Award Winning Guitarist, David Cullen.
