Rock 101's Scorch Living in Crate at Merchantsauto.com Stadium All Week
Manchester, NH-
Scorch, the afternoon host from
2:00pm-7:00pm on Rock 101/WGIR-FM,
is currently living in a crate on the concourse just outside the Samuel
Adams
Bar & Grill at Merchantsauto.com Stadium, home of the New
Hampshire Fisher
Cats, 24 hours a day until this Friday, June 19, at 5:00pm, as part of
his Pause for the Cause promotion
to raise
money for three local animal organizations: Friends of the Manchester
Animal
Shelter, the Humane Society for Greater Nashua and the
Concord-Merrimack
SPCA. Fans are
invited to visit Scorch
from 7:00am until two hours before each night's scheduled Fisher Cats'
game,
and until 1:00am following the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Fisher
Cats'
games, to donate money to the cause.
"Scorch
is certainly a very
caring individual with a devoted following, so he is going above and
beyond in
a very unique way to help support three important causes," said Fisher
Cats
President/General Manager Rick Brenner. "We are happy to provide
him with shelter for
a few days and nights and hope our fans and his audience will be
generous when
coming to the ballpark this week."

Any
fans purchasing tickets
for the Fisher Cats/Akron Aeros doubleheader on Wednesday, June 17, who
mention
Scorch, Rock 101 or Pause for the Cause will have $3 of each ticket
purchased for
the twinbill donated back to Pause for the Cause.

Game
one of Wednesday's
twi-night doubleheader begins at 6:05pm.
Each game is seven innings, and game two will start 30
minutes after the
conclusion of the opening contest.
The
first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a free Fisher
Cats Hat, courtesy of Mt.
Washington Assurance.
