March 18, 2008
Hagerstown, Md. -- The Hagerstown Suns have announced the hiring of three full-time staff members for the 2008 season, Blake Bostelman, Nick Bilski and Ryan Mock.

Blake Bostelman, formerly with the Beloit Snappers, has been hired as the Suns Director of Stadium Operations and Head Groundskeeper. Bostelman spent one season in Beloit (Midwest League, Class A Affiliate of the Minnesota Twins) as the Head Groundskeeper after completing an Internship with the Milwaukee Brewers. The Nebraska native worked for the University of Nebraska while studying at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture where he majored in Sports Turf Management. He graduated in 2006.

"I'm excited about the upcoming season in Hagerstown," said Bostelman. "We have a beautiful new infield, and I'm looking forward to the opportunity to work for an organization like the Suns."

Nick Bilksi has been hired by the Suns as the Director of Food and Beverage for 2008. Originally from Pittsburgh, Nick graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Sport Management. Before joining the staff in Hagerstown, Nick spent one season working for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

"I had a great time working in Pittsburgh in 2007," said Bilski. "I look forward to spending the 2008 season with the great fans in Hagerstown."

The Suns have hired Ryan Mock as Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations. Mock spent the 2007 season in Hagerstown as the Assistant Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations. Before coming to Hagerstown, Mock spent the 2006 season with the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League. He graduated from the University of Canberra (Australia) with a Bachelors Degree in Sports Media in December of 2005.

Mock grew up in Oregon, and worked as an intern with the Portland Beavers (Pacific Coast League, Triple-A Affiliate of the San Diego Padres) prior to his schooling in Australia.

"We have a 140-game season just around the corner, and I look forward to sharing it with everyone on our flagship station -- True Oldies 95.9 FM," said Mock.

The Suns have also added three seasonal interns for the 2008 season. Louis Wright III, Reed Hunley, and Rusty Jagoe joined the Suns organization in January.

Assistant Broadcasters Justin Murphy's and Christian Bruey will partner with Ryan Mock on the air throughout the 2008 season. Cliff Eiland was hired as the Clubhouse Manager for the 2008 season.
