Trenton attendance figures continue to grow
June 8, 2007
With Thursday's attendance of 6,345, the Trenton Thunder, the Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, have drawn at least 6,000 fans in each of the last six games, making it the first time since the 2004 season that the team has accomplished that feat.

The Thunder last drew 6,000 fans in six consecutive games from June 9-13, 2004.

The Thunder's current six-game homestand was against the Akron Aeros (June 1-3) and Binghamton Mets (June 5-7).

The Thunder's season attendance total is now 178,246 with an average attendance of 5,401, the highest in the Eastern League. The Thunder have drawn over 6,000 fans in each of the last eight home games dating back to Wednesday, May 23 when a franchise record crowd of 9,134 saw Roger Clemens pitch for the Thunder.

The Thunder are now offering a "Summer Season Ticket" which includes tickets to the Thunder's final 36 games (starting June 13).

The Thunder take to the road to face the Reading Phillies this weekend and will return to Waterfront Park on Tuesday, June 12 for a doubleheader with the Connecticut Defenders starting at 6:05 p.m.
