Uncle Kracker to Perform at Werner Park, August 24

PAPILLION, Neb. - Werner Enterprises and the Omaha Storm Chasers eagerly unveil that multi-platinum selling artist, Uncle Kracker, will headline the Werner Enterprises Concert on Friday, August 24th. The Storm Chasers' game against the New Orleans Zephyrs will begin on 6:35 p.m. with post-game American Family Friday Fireworks and Uncle Kracker's concert to follow after the final out.

Uncle Kracker, whose latest single "My Hometown" was released on November 1, 2011 has recorded with the likes of Kenny Chesney and Kid Rock. His hit songs "When the Sun Goes Down" with Chesney and his solo cut "Follow Me" reached number one on Billboard's US Country and Adult Top 40 charts, respectively.

Uncle Kracker, whose real name is Matthew Shafer, grew up a mid-western boy in Harrison Township, Michigan. Prior to breaking out as a musician, Uncle Kracker got his break in the music industry as a DJ for his good friend and fellow Michigander, Kid Rock.

Prices for Omaha's game against New Orleans are $20.50 for Club Seats, $16.50 for Field Box Seats, $14.00 for Box Seats and just $10.00 for a spot on the McDonald's Berm.
