Hunter Yaworski (Brooklyn, CT/Mitchell College) had three hits and an RBI and Anthony Porrino (Locust Valley, NY) hit a three-run home run in the fourth for the Seas Unicorns. Kaelen Culpepper (Memphis, TN/Kansas State) went 2-4 with a run and an RBI and Michael Torniero (East Haven, CT/Central CT State University) also had two hits and scored twice.
Tommy Hughes (Newington, CT/Southern CT State University) pitched two scoreless innings of relief with four strikeouts and Darek Lallo (Warwick, RI/Lasell University) logged a scoreless inning as well.
The Sea Unicorns continue their stretch of four road games in three days with a doubleheader against the Worcester Bravehearts Friday at 5:00 pm. The Sea Unicorns return home to Dodd Stadium Saturday, July 24 at 12:00 pm, which will be aired live on NESN. Saturday’s game is “Salute to Health Care Workers”, with $2 general admission tickets.
