Cardinals come up short vs. Daytona

It was a back and forth affair with Palm Beach tying the score twice, however Daytona ended up on top after nine full innings by a score of 4-3.
Daytona got on the board in the top of the first inning on a two-out RBI single from Bruce Yari.
Palm Beach took no time knotting the score back up with a run of its own in the opening frame. Chase Pinder doubled to lead off and was brought home on Dylan Carlson's sacrifice fly. 
The Tortugas jumped back ahead in the third on another RBI hit from Yari. This time, it was a bases loaded, ground-rule double that brought two runners home and made it a 3-1 score. 
While warming up in the fourth, Palm Beach starter Ian Oxnevad left with an injury, turning it over to the bullpen who did not dissappoint despite being tagged with the loss. 
John Kilichowski threw two scoreless innings which allowed Palm Beach to get even with Daytona once again.
The Cardinals scored a run in the fifth on a Kramer Robertson RBI groundout.
In the sixth, Stefan Trosclair's fifth home run of the season made it a 3-3 ballgame. 
Daytona jumped back ahead for good off of Thomas St. Clair who was charged with the the lone, eventual game-winning run in 1 1/3 innings pitched.
It was scored on a comebacker turned fielder's choice with Eric Carter on the mound. He threw 1 2/3 perfect innings followed by Jason Zgardowski's scoreless frame.
In the eighth, Palm Beach was threatening and had two runners on base with one out but could not capitalize. 
Juan Yepez was unable to score in the ninth after reaching on a single to lead off the final inning.
Despite the three runs, Palm Beach had 11 hits on the night. Yepez and Trosclair both had three base hits with Ryan McCarvel and Pinder adding two of their own.
