Batted .357 with 60 homers, 189 RBIs, 232 runs and 160 walks in 179 games from 2023-26 at Georgia Tech,,, hit .381 with 25 homers in his first season before hitting 19 home runs in 2024 and 16 in 2025-26... had 60 or more RBIs in each of his three seasons at Tech... finished his college career with 250 hits in 700 at-bats

In high school, Burress was rated as the No. 4 outfielder and No. 18 overall prospect nationally by Perfect Game… rated No. 1 outfielder and No. 2 overall prospect in the state of Georgia by *Perfect Game… was a four-year letterwinner at Houston County, which he helped to two state championships and four region championships… he was named 2021-22 PBR Georgia Player of the Year and a 2023 *Perfect Game All-America and Under Armour All-America… hit 31 home runs his junior year and tied the state record for RBI (73)... he hit .327 in 40 Perfect Game games with 33 PG home runs in 2022
